Ground broken at the Beach House by Silversands site, Ora Caribbean’s second Grenadian Development

Last week, Dr. The Right Honourable Keith Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada and Mr Naguib Sawiris, CEO and Chairman of Ora Developers performed the official ground-breaking ceremony at the Beach House by Silversands location.

Beach House by Silversands is Ora Caribbean’s second Grenadian development. The small luxury boutique hotel is located behind a protective cliff face on Portici Beach, in the south of the island. Comprising of just 31 canopied suites, guests will be able to choose either a cliffside or beach view.

Internationally known businessman and hotelier Mr Naguib Sawiris said “Ora Caribbean is delighted to have broken ground on our second Grenadian development as we continue to build upon the reputation the Silversands brand has with guests. This is the second development of five which we are committing to developing in Grenada over the next few years.”

Completion of the Beach House is expected to be Christmas 2022.

The Beach House will be a member of Leading Hotels of the World, following in the footsteps of the other Silversands properties.

Once complete guests will be able to enjoy dining in the Italian restaurant on the beachfront, while soaking in views of the Caribbean Sea.

The development funding is being assisted by the newly launched Ora Caribbean citizenship by investment programme.

Ora Developers built and completed the acclaimed and award-winning Silversands Origin hotel on Grenada’s Grand Anse beach in late 2018, fully funded (US $120m) by the company.
