Biden’s new international travel regulations brings good news for potential EB5 Investors

As flying restrictions relax for the first time since the pandemic began in 2020, the White House has established new guidelines for international visitors to the United States. The proposal to reopen the US border to international flights next month includes a demand that practically all foreign visitors be Covid-vaccinated. The United Kingdom, much of Europe, China, and India are among the countries affected by the US travel restriction.

Foreign nationals applying for permanent residency (green cards) must show confirmation of full vaccination against the coronavirus starting October 1, 2021. The COVID-19 vaccination has been added to the list of mandatory immunizations for green card applicants by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Foreign nationals seeking to immigrate to the United States can do so through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, which requires a $500,000 investment in a government-approved project in the US economy in exchange for a fast-tracked Green Card for themselves, their spouse, and unmarried children under the age of 21. The EB-5 Regional Center Program, which was established by Congress in 1992, allows applicants to benefit from the program’s immigration benefits while also acting as passive investors without having to comply with certain reporting duties, such as mandatory job creation reports.

Take advantage of the short window of opportunity to obtain EB-5 Direct at the lower amount $500,000.

The EB-5 Regional Center program has lapsed, but the direct EB-5 program remains in effect with the reduced $500K investment amount.
