Steve Smith, President of EB5 Coast To Coast invites prospective EB-5 investors, particularly those who are interested in receiving their green card and entering the United States in a matter of months, rather than the many years that non-expedited EB-5 petitioners have had to wait for adjudication and approval of their I-526 petitions.Since 2012, EB5 Coast To Coast, created by Steve Smith and based in Seattle, WA, has sponsored over 400 EB-5 investors and their families through its associated Regional Centers operating in 41 states.
An expedited EB-5 project is one that has been determined by USCIS to be of compelling interest to the US government or to meet an urgent humanitarian need. This enables a project to obtain EB-5 investment funding more quickly, allowing for a shorter development timeline.
Investors who can verify that their capital will be invested in a project that serves an urgent humanitarian need and/or a compelling US government interest may have their I-526 petitions processed faster.
USCIS recognised the severe humanitarian need that has arisen as a result of the nation’s drug addiction epidemic, which has been exacerbated by the emergence of the Covid pandemic. The number of drug overdose deaths in the United States just reached a gloomy milestone: the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that the number of drug overdose deaths in a 12-month period exceeded 100,000 for the first time ever, ending in April 2021.
EB5 Visa Fast, an affiliate of EB5 Coast To Coast, is pleased to announce that USCIS has just notified early investors in its addiction treatment programmes that their green card petitions, Form I-526, will be expedited. EB5 Coast To Coast and Ascension Recovery Services have partnered to combine EB-5 investment funds with the establishment, development, and building of various addiction treatment clinics around the country. The first ATC opened in Laconia, New Hampshire, in September. Four in West Virginia and one in Pennsylvania will open in 2022. As Smith and Leech locate more viable spots in other states, more will follow.
